Recovery is quick and you should be able to return to work and other normal activities the same day. The possibility for side effects does exist, side effects include; redness, swelling, bruising, firmness, itching, and more rarely, thickened bumps around the injection area. These type of side effects are rare but are temporary, and will resolve on their own within 1-3 days.

What can I expect following the treatment?
You will experience some swelling, bruising and tenderness after your treatment. Applying ice to the area as well as taking arnica and Bromelain supplements will help with controlling the swelling. You may take an antihistamine like Benadryl, Arius or Allegra to reduce swelling.
